More than just clothes

After years of reading tens of magazines a month I can now say that this is by far my favorite. For the fashion vicitm, Elle provides more than runway shots of clothes, it provides photos which help one to personalize the latest styles. The clothes in this magazine seem to be less uptight than in other fashion magazines like Vogue. In addition to great fashion, Elle provides updated reviews on hot music, movies, and books. This magazine is wonderful for giving its reader information on some of the latest pop culture trends both in the U.S. and abroad while straying from what is presented in mainstream culture.

This magazine nearly drove me nuts. There are way too many advertisements, and if there's a specific article that you're dying to read you might spend up to five minutes just looking for the darn thing. In addition, half of the pages in the magazine are NOT numbered which makes it incredibly difficult to find what you want to read. If you're into lots of photos to get ideas for your wardrobe then this magazine would be perfect for you, but if you're a person who likes a good balance of interesting articles and stylish ideas then look elsewhere. Also many of the styles found in this magazine are only affordable for the wealthy to upper-middle class group. But if it's ideas you like, then this will do.

Elle is Just Perfect

Elle is the kind of magazine that makes me glad to be a woman.
One of my favorite things about it is Ask.E.Jean;This woman is a womans' woman,a modern day Ann Landers and she tells it like it is in a humorous but thoughtful way and I adore her!
Another wonderful thing about Elle is the Fashion and clothing -it is to die for and so beautifully photographed that you could frame it and hang it on the wall if you so desired.
Elle has interesting articles on human relations,health and up to the minute news from around the world including gossip on celebrities and the latest parties and who wore what.
In my humble opinion Elle is the magazine of the moment for all women but especially for those who enjoy a little smart with they're pretty.
