Awful content

I've read a lot of bizarre front page type on this magazine. I bought one issue, and was very disappointed with the content. I should've known better...I mean, Nick Lachey was on the cover!

Don't Be So Quick To Judge!

Don't base your opinion on one article, yes, maybe it was not politically correct. I really feel the editorial staff was not trying to be malicious towards any culture or race. We are all entitled to our opinions in one aspect or another. The magazine has a lot to offer in reading material & content. I find it to be comparable to COSMOPOLITAN, only for men. The price is very reasonable for the product you get. What else can you get for a $1.00 an issue? It has not turned into FHM, MAXIUM, STUFF, or some of the other sexist publications on the market. I think everyone should give it another chance, read it with an open mind, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Details- Way Out of Line

In April 2004, one of the 'Detail' writers, Whitney McNally, put together a pretty shocking piece in which a picture of an (...) male was displayed along with numbered/itemized comparisons between being a stereotypical (...) and being a stereotypical (...) person. It included a number of extremely crude remarks of the lowest kind. But don't take my word for it. Find it on the web and decide for yourself whether or not 'Details' magazine is racist and homophobic. It's one thing for a single writer to lose their way and write something stupid. But it's another for the magazine's editors to allow it to be published from coast-to-coast.
This allows you to see what lies beneath Details'glamor,'sense of style' and their sleek urban offices. And it's ugly.

Whitney McNally and her editorial staff have got to go.
