Decent Paper

The USA Today is a decent paper that gets you covered in the news. Its filled w/ color photos and graphics that help attract the younger readers. It also simplifies stats with charts or photos to make things more understandable. Also to me when I read the paper I see more political biases in articles than I see with other papers. I would recommend your state paper or for some real in depth news try New York Times ...Now I subscribe to my state paper.

AS GOOD AS YOUR DELIVERY PERSON

We purchased this paper for years from the newsstand, always asked for it at hotels, then subscribed through mail delivery. The paper arrived by noon every week day, and we were thrilled with the opportunity to read this publication, as well as our local newspaper.

Later, our mail subscription was changed to "home delivery". 'Sounded like an upgrade... but no. The paper was delivered each morning by a carrier. First, the paper was thrown into our driveway, and we could pick it up with the local newspaper. Shortly, the local paper was neatly in the drive, but USA Today was consistantly under the car. A call to the USA Today's circulation department had the paper back into the center of the drive for about a week, then it was back under the car.

When a second call to circulation still could not remedy the problem--but we found a Holiday "Greeting" Card, complete with the address of our USA Today carrier (for ease in sending a gratuity, no doubt) next to our front door--we decided to cancel our subscription. If you cannot receive good service from the only carrier in your neighborhood, and you must move the car in order to reach the paper anyway, you may as well purchase the paper while you purchase your morning coffee at Starbucks.

It is unfortunate, but true... USA Today is a great paper; but a home subscription can be more trouble than purchasing it on the newsstand. *sigh*

more interesting than the dull city paper

as a subscriber to the washington post and a reader of usa today i can say that usa is just alot more interesting. sure it may not have all the details, but it give enough information without making it boring. the color is great as are the graphs and feature articles. it may not be good for a buisnessman looking for information but the usa today is just fine for everyday news.
