Interesting Perspectives From Europe

'European Homes and Gardens' is an interesting variant on the home and decorating magazines generally found in the US. Although it is certainly not my favorite magazine in the style genre (that would be 'Dwell') it provides many articles on decorating techniques and materials commonly used in Europe that are more unusual in the US. The magazine discusses style and room layout, but the real beauty of this magazine is in the details. There are many affordable items (such as faucet sets or linens of various types) featured in short pieces which are hugely useful to remodelers or people who are redecorating.

I like the magazine, and at the price I think it is a bargain. A bonus is that although there certainly is advertising present in the magazine, there is not a ridiculous amount (like can be found in other magazines such as 'Architectural Digest') and the ads are focused on relevant products that you might actually be interested in.
